CNN is reporting that it may be domestic and not a work of any foreign group.
That sounds more like what my thoughts are leading me to believe.
You know that when Islamic extremists take part in these missions, they don't like to leave any traces or survivors (be it victims or themselves). It's typically a one time deal for all involved, so the mere fact that someone got caught comes off as strange to me.
I am more inclined to believe that it was some sort of domestic, rogue criminal who was trying to simply hurt others amybe even start a pattern of sorts. The marathon runners are too diverse in background, so I think it might have been an isolated crime with probably little to do with any foreign involvement.
That said, for now it's merely speculation on my part.
