Ah, so for someone who's 30 lbs. overweight I'm looking at a sub 1000 calorie diet.

That means I could probably eat 1 Big Mac as my only meal.   

I'm more of a quantity over quality type of guy. 

Low carb = endless amounts of meat per day.

For anyone that's predispositoned to be lean, yeah that's probably possible.

But, for some people, we eat less than 2500 calories normally and still become overweight.

The solution is either calorie deficit or low carb for people like me.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way?  I've dieted for years and this is the best non-cardio approach.

2) You make it sound like having a shift manager is only for low wage workers, which I probably am by Getbig standards, but people who make $50,000 have shift supervisors, managers, ect.

Nonsense, the Big Mac is barely over 500 calories.

If you want to stuff your face with a large fry and soda too and call it one "meal" then yes you will be well over 1000.

Why do you think you need to eat only 1000 calories a day to lose weight?  That's a starvation diet.  In my opinion it's best to aim for a 500 cal/day deficit.

Yes.   All protein & fats.  Not the greatest choice of protein or fats but it's fine.

Even the crook Dave Palumbo does this too when traveling rather than missing a meal.

If your choice of dieting is to reduce your carbs THAT is YOUR choice.

There's no way I, personally, can eat 2500 calories with carbs above 150 grams and lose fat efficiently.
