ILS AND NSS, there's this physique guy on the circuit Tim Roberts actually I call him Slim Roberts, guy 5 ft 6 150 and thinks he's a bbing workout guru, he's one of the ass kissers out of Orange County ca physique class, these contests are judged on abs and chest a competitors back has to be narrow and arms small to be considered a top class guy, all these are are guys who will never be big or have a full physique but juice their asses off at 160. I know a few of these competitors the guys I know are cool and I just try to encourage them, but guys like tim Roberts need a good 10 minutes of pummeling

The jealousy is strong with you..."will never be big", that is your whole emphasis...many of these guys have better genetics than you, it's that they don't choose to go down the Bber route. And why should they. It's less marketable, more drugs, less money. Ask our own KevinP85 about it, who was a Bber, and then went the physique route.

One of my boys just won the physique overall in a local show here. He had 15" arms at 5'10 at 4 weeks out, and when he was talking to the head judge who trains at our gym, he told him his arms are too big and to bring them down more.

Actually , those athletic physiques boys can make much more $$$$ than any of belly bloated freaks,the best example is
annual ANB model contest in Australia with big cash prizes.

I find it interesting that bodybuilders before 1990, wore the same things that were popular for men to wear on the beach. No man wears a thong on the beach in today's swim wear style. He'd look gay. Oh, of course...

Alright. i'll admit. They aren't exactly thongs, but they resemble the those things girls wear that are not quite full underwear, but not quite a thong. Either way, I've never seen a straight man wear that.

yes, there is IFBB Pro Physique, with 15 pro shows on the schedule for 2013.  The recent LA Grand Prix was Phyique only and appears to have pulled a bigger crowd than last year's LA Flex Pro.
