  Walked around and got java, water, soda,   trust me   each hour kept passing and I felt more stupid   but deep down, I did not want to bail on the guy if his flight was late   I did not want him to be stuck there waiting for me    I gave him my word that I would be there no  matter what

Did you at least know what airline he was flying with? Everyone has to walk out the same area in the Bradley terminal once they pass customs. Did you think of waiting there?
