Honestly, if I was to do my first cycle all over again and start from scratch, I would do the following.

week1-16
test e 500mg weekly
150mg NPP eod

week1 and 2
100mg Test prop EOD

if you can't get NPP, deca at 400-500 weekly will be fine. NPP is better choice IMO though, less water retention kicks in faster. plus more frequent pinning actually makes me feel like im doing something. Test prop is used like a kickstart, since i dislike orals. if i was to coach a newbie to AAS, this is what id have them do. pretty safe cycle side effects wise, great gains in size and strength and you'll stay lean if diet is in check. plus you'll be a dab hand at pinning by the time you're done. youll know whether or not bodybuilding is for you as well haha.

have an AI on hand, aromasin my favorite. 12.5mg eod if needed. the above is simply hindsight from someone who's tried a good few compounds and figured out which one he likes best. after 16 weeks id cruise at 250 test for 6 weeks, and then go back on 500 test but instead of NPP go with 100 tren eod.

what do guys reckon are the best first cycles?

Similar to mine: 500mg test E, 200mg deca.

i was always under the impression you should do test only for a first cycle to get an idea of your general reaction to gear, if everything's fine, go all out, i.e. adding tren, mast, npp, etc.  Wink

Sounds hippocrtical, but I agree. However, I've built a good foundation as a natty, 5'10 220lbs at 12%. And I just kind of knew I was gonna respond well. I controlled estrogen the whole time and not a single negative side.

1ml sust + 3 ml primo bayer for 8 week, all h.g gear at 23 y.o.


The few first weeks were just magic, the hg sust was strong like hell, and the primo build very lean muscle.
at that age no need for more.

I still personally think it's better to run one compound for your first cycle in order to properly gauge sides and response.  However, if i could do it all over again i'd run 500mg Test E and 400mg Deca.  Or possibly 500mg Test E with 40mg Dbol ED the first 6 weeks.

First I would keep in mind that muscle takes time to build....

No need to over analyze things imo and just grab yourself something real and stay on for a while starting off on the lower end. Your body already makes testosterone and if you remove it for long periods of time you will not feel healthy so it makes sense to stick with that.

Yeah, you can read all the steroid profiles and listen to people's experiences for hours on end but at the end of the day you have to try things out for yourself and see how you respond. Running one compound at a time to see how you respond like overload mentioned is the way to go. People starting off running these crazy multiple compound stacks don't know what's doing what.

i did something like 700mg sust and 350mg npp for my first "cycle" (never came off)

i was going to start with the test first and see how it went but then my joints started hurting so i went ahead and used the npp as well.

imho the best way to do it is to make the decision to stay on, and once you do, start off slow with ~500mg test, add in and take out various compounds over time to experiment, do a trt cruise every once in a while for health, you won't really have enough time doing like a 12 week cycle with several different compounds to let your body adjust and get a good feel for all the nuances and sides that you experience

just my 2 cents tho

500 test e for 16 weeks and 20mg dbol ed for weeks 1-6 and 11-16 with some letro 2.5 mg EOD starting around week 3 or 4 that's when everything should be fired up at full speed

My next blast is gonna be tren ace at 700mg a week and test e at 1500mg a week and possibly 3iu of HGH a day

I did cyp only first cycle. A massive 300mgs a week! I was close to tapped out naturally but had a great foundation. Crazy gains off that tiny dose. I remember my military press going up 9 reps in one week!

Test prop, 100mg EOD for 8 weeks. If you don't make amazing gains on this it is time to find another sport/hobby.
