Mark Sanchez was the one who should have been cut. I am no Tim Tebow fanatic. Being a Pats fan, I know how a true quarterback should play  ;) Tim Tebow would have won more games then Sanchez last year. If guys like Brady Quinn, and Weeden, and MCcoy, and Skelton etc... can keep jobs, then Tebow deserves a job in the NFL. I would take Tebow over that scrub Gabbert in Jacksonville anyday.

I'm not sure Tebow would work in the CFL.  It's a passing league and only have 3 downs.  You can't afford to be throwing the ball into the ground and over the receiver's head.

Montreal owns his rights and the team already said Tebow is welcome to compete for the BACKUP QB role.  HAHAHAHA.  Fucker got owned by the beaver eaters.

Here are the facts. Tebow was 7-4 as a starter in Denver (with a playoff win, which Peyton didn't do last year). The guy deserves another shot.

He was completely misused by the Jets. He is a quarterback who can run when needed. The Jets using that wildcat used him as a pure running back and he is no where near being a good running back. Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffon is an amazing runner. Tebow isn't anywhere near his running capability yet they used him 95% plus to run to run the ball.

Let Tebow be a quarterback and when he sees an opening he will run the ball.

Tebow is a better player then Sanchez. Not a qb, but a player in the qb role.

You and that little personal trainer guy are just too smart for me.  A couple of winners in life I'd imagine.

So, if he gives credit to god for the successes, does he hold god accountable for the failures?

But wait doesn't he train huge mma fighters like Cheick Kongo. He must have made at least 10 grand from that client.   90% of the time that guy posts something I just feel bad for him.

Don't be upset little man. Like I said, next time you decide to take a jab, a little research might be in order. Post up some pics of your leased (rented) lambo) and impress everyone on here. lol

The CFL (he was drafted by montreal a few years ago) that he would only be a backup there.   Their field is BIGGER... he'd suck worse there.

Arena football or bust!

ESPN said he'd have an NFL job in a minute if he would become a team player and agree to play any position.  Some roster would add him as a backup blocker, special teams, etc.

he's not a RB or TE, doesn't know how to brace and take hits.  if guys like pat white are getting knocked unconscious, what do you think will happen to TT, if they try to turn him into Mike Allsott?

He knows that's a path he doesn't want to go done.  Hence, he sticks to the QB line.

true, but tebow's shelf life would probably be 2 more years if he takes that route.  Teams would add him just because they know sportscenter will be playing a few of their highlights that way.  Nobody cares about jags vs bengals normally... but Tebow on a trick play each week would totally get them some attention, and that airtime is good for everyone.

without going that route, he's probably gonna be finished in the NFL.  Which might be fine... he can give speeches now, although I think that'll get old quick.  That same giggly smirk about "I'm a winner" will get old when he's healthy and strong but the league doesn't want him.  He's a college winner.  He caught a lucky streak with a D that came together and the luckiest kicker ever against a string of 2nd string QBs.   SInce then, he's been below average on everything he does.  I love the guy's attitude, but realistically, he's not good enough to be QB.

Plus, tebow has only been training for beef for that one year... give him another year on the HGH, he can add 15 more pounds and be a punishing hitter.  He used to smash some kids in college... he just needs to commit to being a big strong smashmouth dude.  He can attain alstott size with time, no doubt.

Warren Moon couldn't pull from under center coming out of Washington and ended up in Canada, came back to a shotgun offense and end of story.  TT can play the gun, if you give him trap and draw RBs and two TE formations. Also, WRs would have to run slants, picks and outs, so you could slow the game down to his IQ, which is 5-15 yd passing game with two options down field, 2nd level is dump to a RB  or take off and get 3-5 yds.  Teams want dynamics like RG3, Kap and Wilson, but TT would need to be a cloud of dust type offense.  Jacksonville's owner is still the biggest jackass in the league.

Chargers, Vikings not interested in Tebow

Posted by Mike Florio on May 1, 2013, 8:15 AM EDT

AP
Tuesday saw quarterback Tim Tebow become a free agent, after no team claimed his contract on waivers.  It also saw the parade of teams not interested in Tebow grow by at least two.

Appearing on XTRA 1360 in San Diego, G.M. Tom Telesco faced the Tebow question.

“Tim Tebow is out there,” one host said.  “Would you guys ever?”

“Ever what?” Telesco said with trepidation in his voice, sparking laughter from the two hosts.

The host then explained himself.  “Would you guys think about it, possibly bring him in for a visit?”

“We’re really happy with the two quarterbacks we have, and we drafted one in the seventh round that we think has developmental upside, so we’re happy with our three quarterbacks right now,” Telesco said.

In other words, “No.”

Vikings G.M. Rick Spielman addressed the Tebow topic during a visit to PFT Live.

“Other teams are saying they’re not interested,” I explained to Spielman.  “This is your chance to say you’ve got no interest in Tim Tebow.”

“He is a great individual,” Spielman said.  “I spent some time with him when we came out in the draft but we’re very satisfied where we’re at with our roster right now.”

In other words, “No.”

Still, 31 teams can say, “No.”  They can shout, “No!” followed by “way” and perhaps a profane word in the middle.

All it takes is one team to whisper, “Yes.”  Now that Tebow is a free agent, any team can.
