Granted, that is older, and by the late 90s early 2000s, he was handling 200s.
And remember Shawn Ray was using 180s.

Cutler is smart and never lifts heavier than he has two. Jay is a multiple Olympia winner, Cormier is homeless or plays playstation all day.

even tho their development was comparable but not quite

Cause professional Bodybuilding is not about how much you can lift, but how much you can inject.

when will you wake up???

bodybuilding has little to do with big poundage......coleman was originally a powerlifter......jay was always a bber......he trained with weight heavy enough to stimulate muscle growth......but he was not concerned with a 1 rep max in the bench, squat and deadlift.

why are some of you guys so obsessed with who is stronger etc??? that is all for ego. if you are ed coan or larry pacifico that is one thing.....but for bbing purposes.....weight doesn't have to be over the top heavy......my 2 cents.

He was ok, he won most of his shows when the bigger guys were not around or not in shape.

I saw tape of Cormier incline pressing and he does three quarter to half presses. I can't help feel he would be buried for one rep with 405 if he touched his chest with the bar.
he brings the bar to his chin in an effort to keep tension on his pecs.....not to cheat during the movement........for Christ sake.....Cormier's chest was quite good!

Cutler wasn't necessarily weaker than Ronnie. He just didn't focus on moving the weight
from A to B. You don't necessarily have to get any stronger muscularly to lift more weight.
You just practice the movement, in the rep range you want to get stronger at, being concious of the
poundage, always trying to increase it... that how you demonstrate strength.

All guys with big muscles are strong muscularly. They may not be able demonstrate it as well
as others though.

What do you mean by strong muscularly? I always though that in lifting weights it's all about tendons and ligaments, and muscle strength plays minor supporting role.

Guy was a beast

One look at Cormier's too-far-out-in-front knees in the squat pic and anyone with an ounce of knowledge will know Chris didn't squat that weight. If he achieved any degree of depth, he'd have gotten crushed. Or ... his knees would have blown out.

Not sure where he is , racking/un-racking the weight , doesn't look like he's in the movement
