where would you recommend?

Venice? Milan? Pisa? Florence?

venice is nice but i would say only with good weather, stay away from milan (it's just a common big city), go to Florence if you love museums and similar, Pisa is basically the poor version of Florence.

let me suggest you a cute little place which you def love a lot: San Gimigniano near Siena: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Gimignano
you'll fall in love with this place.
there are also a lot of traditional taverns or if you prefer very high class restaurants where you can go with your lady and have an unforgettable time

They have decent nursing homes there as well.

the very north of italy is the most developed and industrial part but also the less nice (except for the lakes which anyway I don't like).
I live here so I know.

In these high class restaurant you can basically eat whatever you want and as many courses as you can need for your anabolic window  ;D

Croatia.

 - beautiful sea
 - diving!
 - hottest girls in the world (and I mean it - my friends from croatia friendslist on fb is fucking impressive even to me and I'm Polish - every second girl is 9/10 and from photos it is clear they long for cock)
 - cheap as fuck

Italy/France is for boring, old fat fucks who want to brag about there they've been this summer. Sightseeing and "enjoying culture" is plain BS, I don't give a flying fuck about fucking buildings or whatever. Croatia and Egypt are perfect places for physically active people to spend summer.

If you're under 25: Las Falles in Valencia.  Biggest, longest, and most intense party I've ever been a victim of.  Made Hogmanay, Edinburgh look like a senior's bridge tournament.

Not sure how much English is spoken there these days.  Very little when I was there.

Depends on what you are looking for.

- Cheap alcohol and hot women: Prague.
- Expensive alcohol and hot women: French Riviera or Ibiza*
- Expensive alcohol and beautiful nature: most of Skandinavia (going on a nature hike in Sweden myself end of the month)
- Cheap alcohol and ugly women: Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Ireland

*Depends on where you stay, and how much you're willing to spend

Note to self, visit Prague.  Bring lots of money.
