Don't believe he said- she said stories. I have not been cut by the UFC. I am Cheick Kongo so I know BEST what's NEXT for me. It doesn't mean that I am leaving the UFC, it doesn't mean that I am staying, it means this is my LIFE.
Do not believe what we tell you. I am in the best position to know what happened to my career in the UFC. AND do not worry. For the moment, be aware that in no case the UFC not dismissed me and I am on very good terms with the American organization. I am at the end of contract, as I have already been previously. UFC person not sign of CDI and contracts, it is trading. So I say to you, to evidence to the contrary, I'm still a fighter in the UFC. Take care of yourself.

I always enjoyed watching Kongo fight. The guy doesn't let the fight go to a decision. He either knocks someone out, or goes home on his shield.

His next move should be out of the UFC he needs to fight at a lesser competition, hes done well with his limited skill set in MMA, props to him for that, but the all round skill set level has improved and Kongo is still just a kickboxer in comparison, sorry coach.

I like to watch cheick... But I do agree that his skill level is not where it should be at this time in regards to the ufc.. He can still be deadly but against the top guys in his division he doesn't stand a chance..
