That's one of the latest lines of Technogym, pretty decent stuff, but you can't compare it with a brand like Hammerstrength.
TG is one of the most popular brands in Europe.

The sad thing is that my gym owner doesn't even lift (he's more into martial arts). As a result, one of his gyms is loaded with crap (Sportsart & Hoist). Fortunately, his other location has a 20 year old TG line and better benches as well. Too bad this location is a bit more far away.
HS is the shit. I will prob visit a place soon, where they have a full line, can't wait! So far, I had only the chance to try their chest press.

Hammer Strength are great machines all plate loaded no weak ass cables involved. I got them second to Nautilus, Arthur Jones approved.

The machines Arthur Jones made were great. His MedX and earlier Nautilus were really good machines. His son Gary Jones made some good plate loading machines with Hammer Strength.

Exactly. The pullover machine was one of Arthur's best.

Yeah, their plate loaded line isn't bad, though you can't compare it with HS. I've trained on all machines above, except the second one.
I remember the first time that I tried that rowing machine (last pic). My balls got almost crushed because of the poor padding  :-X ;D

I have Technogym in my latest gym. They feel good with the circular motion they have, but sometimes they feel imbalanced, like they're skewed making one arm work harder. wonder if they're broken or if I'm imbalanced. Leg kick feels strange for the kness. Shoulder press, lat pulldown and seated row are pretty good.

Most of the times, the weight stack is on your right side. I understand the user-friendliness of this, but I recognize that imbalanced feeling with a serious load, esp when a machine becomes old. There's a good reason why plate loaded machines are popular, not only by their owners.

yes but you're wasting so much time and power searching the right plates and loading em on the machine set for set. It's easier putting the stick into the weight stack 8)

My gym has a ton of Ivanko plates. The only problem is that 20 & 25 kg plates look almost identical (both are black). However, I prefer the robust feeling of a PL-machine over this inconvenience.

Arnold's hair dye job is always horrible.

Yeah, that gym looks too upscale and not very motivating.
