people like that who scream and throw feces against crossfit are, to a man, speaking from ignorance and nothing else. take anyone who says a kipping pullup does "nothing" and make them bang out 100 of them for time, see if they feel like they didn't do anything afterwards LOL.

and what's even funnier is the people who scream the loudest are the types you'll see at the gym working sooooo hard on those rope pressdowns and lateral raises. oh yeah. showing the crossfitters how to do a REAL workout there, guys. ::)

I think crossfit is hard work. No, at present i could not complete a serious crossfit training session. A begginers session...no problem. If I chose to do it, i would do just fine....I don't see how that's an objectionable statement. I am a physically capable man who has been in shape his entire life. Chicks can do it but I couldn't ?

Crossfit is a cringeworthy craze of the 2000's which is a 'cool' thing to say you do.

Everyone can do a box jump or some swinging pullups or a silly dance in the cable cross. There is no measurability to it.

You don't need to look good or say what times you have, or what you lift. Like a hippy gym movement.

Not wrong in any way but that's what it is.

Has anybody ever seen a crossfitter with decent muscular development?  Most of those guys look like they barely lift, and the women honestly don't look much better than the women I see in Zumba or Yoga classes.  Even "elite" crossfitters don't have a whole lot of visible muscularity; there are 18 year old hobbyist bodybuilders with more muscle size and definition.  

So if they're not particularly strong, and if they're not particularly muscular, then what's the point?  Nobody really cares how many cheat-pullups you can do.

Especially gets bad when they try to implement movements from strongman (like continental cleans) or just strict oly lifts.

People with NO technique whatsoever pushing people to do dangerous complex movements which take years of practice and do all that for shitty high reps so they get ''fitt''.



I can see the cardio aspect of it but come on run a marathon. Like weightlifting? Get into olympic lifting.
