E-Kul, I was just listening to some Australian politician on the radio mouthing all the same old tired pc bs they have been mouthing for years. Saying they have sent "their advice" to the British government.
I don't watch TV any-more, or listen to the radio. I download all my media and use the Internet as an information source. I got tired of listening to all the politically correct bullshit a long time ago. I want to see fiery debate and passionate disagreement in the political sphere.
People also take my stance on guns wrong as well I think. My stance is you either go one way or the other, if you are going to implement something, do it full on, no half way measures. It's the trying to please both sides that causes all the problems. If you are going to have guns, then everyone have guns, all times everywhere, if you are not going to have guns, then get rid of them.
I am actually an anarchist, I would like to see virtually zero government intervention, but this is unlikely to happen unless deeply enlightened beings raise the level of awareness of the average citizen. SO my arguments are always based on the current system we have, which I despise. Personally I would like to see the current system scrapped, completely, but for now it is all we have.
