hes an absolute idiot and liar none the less, he said theres no such thing like overtraining, only undereating
such brilliant advice has given birth to many permabulkers, i mean does this guy look remotely like a scientist or doctor to you?
his first meal a day used to be 3-4 calories at mcdonalds i think.wow, some advice.
these days hes not so bloofy anymore, quite fairly lean, i bet he dont eat like that anymore.
Actually, that "no overtraining, just overeating" thing was a hall mark of a guy you may remember from the late 80s/early 90s, John Parillo.
He's the dude that had people eating up to 10,000 calories per day, doing intense sets beyond failure, and engaging in fascia stretching to make room for more muscle growth.
One of his more famous success stories was 1995 ASC Champion, Mike Francois. He used to compete as a light-heavyweight, before he met Parillo and trainer Greg Greenzalis, who put him on a mega-high calorie diet. By 1991, Francois became a MONSTER and got serious notice by winning the first MuscleMania (Chicago) show. An ESPN poll was used to elect a grand champion from the 5 MuscleMania winners that year. Francois won with ease, over the like of Dennis Newman (San Diego), Teddy Lopes (Rhode Island), Sal Princiotta (Philadephia), and Nick Sillette (Atlanta).
Back to Parillo, he believed that bodybuilders could train harder and recover quicker from that training, if they were eating super-high quality and quantity calories. Fletcher apparently has similar beliefs (though the quality part was a bit suspect).
