yeah its not the optimal approach, but it works good enough,the calorie is calorie thing.

not optimal for bodybuilding fatloss programms, kinda ok for maintenance,and for bulking,lol, it dont even matter, bulkng is so dumb one might aswell eat whatever he wants

A thought.. If you eat say 2000 calories in one sitting. You won't absorb 100 % of it right - some of it will pass through.

Also the body will use more energy handling it than eating closer to what you can absorb.

Aren't different calories easier or more energy demanding to absorb by the body?

Wouldn't those facts mean a calorie is not a calorie when it comes to digestion ???

In the real world, its impossible to eat calories alone. You eat a piece of matter that have lots of things in it, including calories.

Take for example salt. It has the propriety to make your organism retain water, thus gaining weight, and this effect is totally unrelated to the calorie aspect of it.

According to this link http://www.fitday.com/webfit/nutrition/All_Foods/Salt_table.html a cup of salt has zero calories so while I understand the point behind your words, it is without merit as there is no caloric equivalent to be had.

As to a calorie is a calore, I would say again that for the greater part this may well be true.  However, what you do with those calories is what really makes a difference.

so salt supposedly has zero (or very close to it) calories... great. So since it wont affect your total sum of calories, you can eat it as much as you want that it wont change a thing in your weight, right?

It will not add, nor subtract fat/muscle.  Your attempt at this is poorly conceived.  Its flawed as much as if you would ask someone to drink 3 gallons of water a day rather than eat protein.  Try again Alex.  Actually, try a treadmill once in a while.

What is the difference between 1cal of butter and 1cal of chicken?

I posed a question to you about the effect of salt on the things that matter.  I didn't change anything.  You using something that is a mineral and NON caloric in nature.  I guess for you example I might as well replace my protein with sand.  ::)

Just for you to understand, there will be a limited amount of weight that is gained from the salt intake before it takes a toll on the body.  Its not going to be linear chief.  From the last pics of you, I would recommend you replace some salt in your diet with more protein.  Might help you cut down on the bloat.
