Sorry, but you can`t disguise your ignorance as "trolling".  Its obvious you thought you had an epiphany of some sort and thought people would hop on board in your corner.  No, they realized that you really are a moron instead.  :D

Dont need to be sorry youself...

you see, I could have googled that shit up but I didn't and made a mistake -  and that's fine because it's only insecure people or underachievers that avoid at all costs to commit one.

and its funny that you adress me as a non troll but stays moot about yourself, lol, adonis the king of getbig, master of trolling.

the idea was to substitute protein intake for salty french fries. Changed it for salt at the last moment for the fun of it.

Now my turn to make a question. Why you never posted that video of back that claim of you deadlifting X pounds for like a hundred reps like you promissed you would

haha no need to try to prove him wrong, he discredits himself with the abundance of 'knowledge' he shows.

nothing like starting a thread calling someone out using your 'science', and your 'science' proving to be meer retardation.  :D

So, at the end of the day, do you think your body really "knows" the difference if you get your total fat from egg yolks, bacon, and avocado vs. triple filtered flax oil, almonds, olive oil, and salmon?

I thought we were talking about cals not macros? Macros is something much more useful to use as a guide than simply raw cal numbers.

Body-building is very complex, it takes a real scholar-athlete to excel at it.

to clarify the matter, if you want to understand food energy, there are generally TWO types of calories

empty calories and nutritious calories

active individuals will have a higher tolerance for empty calories

inactive folks will get fat or suffer from "malnutrition"

This is not a debate it's just confusion related to what's being said.

Empty Calories.  Do you think they will invent Empty Gasoline that I can fill a car up with so that way I don`t have to fill up the car with Gasoline at all?

I thought I asked a pretty straight forward question.  BTW, why is it people take things to the absolute extreme when stuff like this come up.  "Ok, asshole, so I could eat butter all day and it wouldn't matter??"  Adam has pointed out REPEATEDLY (as do the IIFYM) people that you probably would be fine with the RDA in protein as well as fat (I believe it was fat too).  Beyone that, if you need 2000 it really wouldn't matter how you got it.

there is shitty gas that will fuck up your engine due to the consequences of ethanol content and there is the gas that the engineers thought was going to be put in the car. So that's the analogy.

If you want to discuss "food energy" then empty refers to the nutritional content not the energy content.

the issues of nutrition and energy need to be delaminated.

at that point this will turn into a "debate"!!!!!

:)

Its really irrelevant since anyone who is obese is certainly beyond maxxed out as far as their nutritional needs are concerned.  Furthermore, meeting basic nutritional needs, even for someone bodybuilding regularly is easy to do and requires no real planning if one eats like a normal person and is not limiting themselves in some hare-brained way.  Eat normally and you will meet this all by default.

I just got a Special Edition Blue Bell Ice Cream that I am about to try.   8)

I eat a balanced diet and its what most people would call "normal", I stay in shape by eating a bit more or less depending on how I look.

Its simple.

I can't imagine anyone would disagree.

The fine grained dietary analysis creates a lot of confusion. Some people just like to analyse stuff.

You can eat pretty much anything that is a FOOD and get where you want.

enjoy the ice cream  8)

yo mr turbo, explain please how can a calorie be empty, serious question, i never understood this.

does this mean the body has no way to store it other than as bodyfat?

It is just a term nutritionist use to describe a calorie that will not benefit you in anyway. For example calories from protein are good cause they will give you valuable amino acids and some calories from rice, potatoes, oats etc but anything you do not need would be classified under the term ''empty calories''

so what turbo is trying to say I think is why waist the calories on empty shit when you can be eating food with nutritional value when you are already limited on calories due to trying to keep under your calorie maintenance. I agree with him.

From experience there is no room for a bodybuilder to eat chocolate, cookies and doughnuts 2 weeks out while trying to keep below maintenance, by this time his calorie maintenance has already plummeted to low numbers and he needs to be eating lots of protein since it is easier to lose muscle in the lower bodyfat levels.

If you are in the wild, and are eating nothing but lean protein, you will die.

Look up the term "Rabbit Starvation".

An Oatmeal Cookie has more nutritional value gram for gram then eating just Oatmeal.  ;)

Also, the reason why cookies should be eaten is because they taste good.

Caloric deficit = weight loss (regardless of source). Quality of diet can lead to death.  Not the same thing.

A calorie still equals a calorie.

It's generally accepted that FOOD energy is made up of different calorie types.

So called "empty" calories have their place which seems to confuse many people.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/feb/10/scientists-suggest-beer-after-workout/

Researchers at Granada University in Spain have found that beer can help the body rehydrate better after a workout than water or Gatorade. Professor Manuel Garzon also claimed the carbonation in beer helps to quench the thirst and that its carbohydrate content can help replace lost calories, The Telegraph reports.
