well yes he was lighter ,but hardfest he's ever been,better diet for the era needed to win copared to 5 yrs earlier,less full/bloat from probably certain drugs he used early 70's to what he was on to get in shape in 80.either way he was peeled and still enough size to win.

In 1980, Menzer was addicted to speed and Zane still wasn't fully recovered from an injury.

It was called running, which he did A LOT of in the late 70's, getting down to 199 pounds. He was somewhere between 212 and 220 in this pic. Lean from tons of cardio and weight training.

FOR being so 'small'lol as was being made,the conditioning was what made that look he has so cool for that show,he 'zaned'himself with his trademark bodyparts freakier conditioned than older look 74/75

At that time period , everyone was pretty much using methamphedamines or ephedrine as they were cheap and legal to get from a doctor.
