That picture above shows again that Mentzer might be a better poser than Arnold... He's substantially smaller by dimension and still appears large

I don't know why more people don't mention this, but Mike Mentzer seemed like the one of the greatest posers this "sport" has ever seen.
Ofcourse not able to tense his abs during "79 Olympia cost him heavily but still, coupled with his amazing physqiue he's among few master posers in my book.

I know it's been said before, but watch the video and Arnold wins easily.

He was in his best shape, a little smaller but so what you don't drop 10 pounds to be leaner and stay the same size. His structure beats everyone there easily only Zane was close.

not to mention one of the most talented writers the sport ever had, you could read a article by mentzer and tell he actually put some thought into it. guy was a great writer for sure.

Never seen that top one, he was in great shape, it's funny how he was considered out of shape because he brought a different package, yet he wasn't smooth, no gut, still had all showpiece body pars, arms, calves and chest.
