I doubt the judges of the most prestigious bodybuilding contest in the world; MR.Olympia in 1980 were judging Chris' physique based on the type of magazines you've been reading  .

He was the first African-American AAU Mr. America, the first openly gay winner of the IFBB Mr. Olympia contest. -Trained with Bill Pearl. His bodybuilding competition career is nearly 30 years long and includes about 60 title wins. He is 79 years old.

Agreed, brother.  This is where I think, not believe, that true genetics come into play.  Not only in response to drug protocols but also as they relate to how each of us is put together.  Muscle shape, length, recovery ability (enhanced or not) and more.  Arnold was "Arnold".  Better than everyone on that stage and I have no doubt that if he were twenty-one again, he would destroy the dais with ease.

As with Steve Reeves before him, there is only one Arnold.  I honestly think Haney, Coleman, Yates, et al just plain suck in comparison.  No one is better than Reeves when it comes to natural and overall, there is absolutely no one better on drugs than Arnold.  And I can also state that Arnold is better than Reeves overall.

But lord-a-mighty... Chris Dickerson is fuckin' awful.

I also believe if Arnold was in his Twenties and competing Now
Or In any Era He would Still of Emerged as The Best.

All Those Bitching & Whinning about Arnold Winning Never address the Fact
The others had 1/2/3 plus years of devoted training & Really didn’t look as good

Arnold at 80% was better than them all at their 100%. He was busy getting into the movie bushiness that made him set for life. He had nothing to prove in bodybuilding in 1980.  Two months of training and he beat the world again. I do wish he showed up in his 75 or 74 condition. He would have been declared the winner just walking on stage.

great quote mr scott.   mr scott, i talked to casey viator a few times way back in 03,  casey was friends with both arnold and mike, he said at one time they were pretty good friends, in fact arnold thought mike was a great body builder,  casey told me and i quote " arnolds pre contest training would kill most people"
