17 yrs as a pro and still going stong.

He's toast, this was the only game in the playoffs that he showed up for. He was a great player, but at 35 he is out of gas.

He also played like shit during the regular season, as well but he was injured for most of the season and only played in 60 games.

I just hope he has enough left in him for one last solid performance. Play well, get the ring and call it a day.

Anyways, if the Spurs win, the MVP should be a FIRST!  Guess who???????

POPS

Yes, a coach should win the fucking MVP.

Wiggs, back me up in here....

Agreed 100%. Only thing is is most valuable player. If they could make an exception, I'd def give it to Pop. He's been the difference. 8)

Popovich is awesome, great coach and I love how he dicks with the sideline reporters in those worthless half-time interviews they make them do and the media in his press conferences.

Common causes for laughter are sensations of joy and humor; however, other situations may cause laughter as well.
A general theory that explains laughter is called the relief theory. Sigmund Freud summarized it in his theory that laughter releases tension and "psychic energy". This theory is one of the justifications of the beliefs that laughter is beneficial for one's health.[21] This theory explains why laughter can be used as a coping mechanism when one is upset, angry or sad.

Or humored with nonsense, as in this case. Hahahahahhahahahhaha.  You're at the end of your rope bub. It's over in game 6.

Heat are still favored in Vegas (57% or so).  All this really means is people are still betting on the Heat.

I actually think Spurs need to win this next game or it's over for them.  I can't be bothered to look it up but I can't remember a team even winning game 7 on the road.

I'm going to the casino to bet on my team.

Wiggs what do you think of the 2-3-2 format for the Finals? (vs. the old 2-2-1-1-1)

I think it fucks the #2 team in a competitive series since just to hold court you have to beat the #1 team in the NBA three times in a row, which is next to impossible no matter where you're playing.  Seems like it forces you to win two road games, pretty much, to win the series, when you should technically only have to win one.

Although they are the #2 team (not the #1) so maybe it should fuck them.

In a short series I can see it favoring the #2 team, for example the #2 could conceivably win in five games by playing more home games than the #1 team.

Hard to say who's really #1 and #2 given how different the conferences are and how infrequently they play each other in the regular season.  I wish they would go back to 2-2-1-1-1, but it's probably television/media related which means they never will :'(

Maybe best-of-9 in the Finals is the answer?

I think Spurs know this is the least secure 3-2 series lead in league history :)

Heat win by 20 every time after a loss.

Here's a stat for you. Heat haven't won two games in a row since playing the Bulls in the Eastern Semi finals. Spurs haven't lost two in a row since JANUARY. Dwell on that for a while. By the way throw that stat in there with the 92.3%. So if you somehow win game 6 (you wont) you statistically on many fronts wont win game 7.

Colin cowherd only bets on game 1 and 7 of Seires... because that is the only time both teams are playing with the same intensity.  You relax when you're up a game. You play with urgency when down a game.

Spurs better win it Tuesday lol... cause David Stern will be putting on a whistle and blowing phantom fouls if it comes to that.  Heat lose, and that team gets broken up.  Wade takes half the year to really heal, Bosh traded to Celtics or Nets... and NBA ratings PLUMMET next year.   What are the numbers this year?  wasn't game 5 the highest ever?  HEAT are good for business, and while the man can't dress or diet, Stern knows how to make money $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Spurs better win in 6... cause LeBron can pistol whip other players in game 7 without hearing a whistle.

I prefer the 2-2-1-1-1 format.  I don't think this 2-3-2 will be around that much longer.

agreed.  i dislike this one too.  it really does favor the home team though... technically, "home court" is still very much in place, despite the deficit.  Weirder than Jay Cutler injury a week before the Olympia.

But Bryant said neither the rivalry nor revenge should be motivating his teammates when they try to stave off elimination at home.

"Just man up and play. What the hell is the big deal?" he said. "If I have to say something to them, then we don't deserve to be champions. We're down 3-2: Go home, win one game, go into the next one. Simple as that."

one of the best Fucking quote I've heard from Kobe.......He speaks like a true Champion.....if I'm Spoltra,  I'd make the Heat team watch game 6 against the Dallas Mavericks from two years ago as a last reminder why they're in this

Do most getbiggers agree that the winner of TONIGHT'S game will probably win the series?

Looking forward to the game tonight.

BB related: watching what I eat today so I can have a "cheat meal" burger and a (lite, mind you) beer at the "sports bar" and perhaps a sundae (no homo) for dessert.

Yes, I can't see Miami losing Game 7 at home.

Being a Miami fan can be catabolic at times.

for some reason I think the Spurs are going to win tonight.  I don't like them but I just think the Heat are heartless compared.
