I'm currently dieting on 1900 kcals a day, 90g carbs. About 10 weeks in, and so far haven't noticed any obvious loss of muscle.
Diet is simple, I cut out ALL refined sugar, and count how many grams carbs im eating per day - the other 1540 kcals by default come from protein and fat........how many grams protein? I don't give a shit!
As long as I'm eating 1900 daily, doesn't matter.
When i'm down to 8%, i'll keep the carbs at 90g, but try to get the other 1500kcal from mostly lean protein sources - that should get me down to 5-6%.
