Just found out a good friend committed suicide.

I've delt with depression in the past and have even had some dark thought cross my mind in the past so I know all about depression but it just sucks that when someone does this and you were good buds that you wish you could have at least said or done something.  The guy had a beautiful mind and was a good man. R.I.P. :'(

Sorry about the loss of your friend, Wiggs. I know how you feel right now as I've been there twice myself.

Lincoln wrote something once that really prove to be helpful.

It was some very wise and helful words that he wrote after the loss of his young son.

I'd like to send it to you if I can find it.

ah that's shit man.. sorry to hear. mental illness and depression claims a lot of people one way or another.. something you start to notice more as you get older/hit your 40s

I've been there Wiggs.  Grieve but try not to take on the problems of that person.  Nothing you could have done.  It's a fucked up world we live in and not everyone is cut out for it.

Sorry for your loss Wiggs...And no you do not see the signs unless you been through it before...

A dude I knew that committed suicide asked me if i wanted some cash...I said no...Looking back, he was getting rid of everything before he committed the act..He jumped off his balcony..

People are going to be assholes if they're assholes no matter what. I'm not going to stop posting how I feel to protect my ego.

He was a young man (would have been 26 next week) a white fellow. I hired him at a job I used to have. He was very quick witted, very bright and fun as hell to be around. He went into the Air Force about two years after I got out. He came down with an illness and was medically discharged a couple years later. We stayed in contact through facebook.  Quite honestly I'm shocked, hurt and sad all the same time. I can honestly say I loved the guy as my brother.

My brother recently had suicidal thoughts. He even told my mother that he didn't want to live anymore. Scary shit.

gotta wonder how much pain a person has to be in to take their own lives. a lot of people would get angry and say they are selfish for doing that etc. stop and think for a minute how much pain that person had to be in.omg im sorry to hear wiggs. horrible news.

Been there twice already. Both times, it toik me some time to get it out of my head and not completely. You suddenly ask yourself if you could do it, is it worth it, do your loved ones really understand it when you need them, etc....hang on, Wiggs. It's not going to be easy for a while.
