Farrah is an advocate of using "lower protein", say 1g per lb of LBM, and upping carbs as much as possible. Smart dude....

I believe he was talking about some kind of 'periodization' of protein consumption during a seminar.
Kai came with less mass to the 'O, but he was at his all time best.

I've never heard him mention "periodization of protein." My current training partner hired Farrah 6 months ago so I know his whole system inside and out.

What he likes to do post cycle is have his guys come off EVERYTHING, even regular food and vitamins, and only eat greens. This is the only periodization he uses in regards to nutrition.

He nearly cut my buddies protein in half, and he is growing better than ever on roughly the same drugs. Farrah opposes high protein consumption, (500g, etc) for good reason.

In fact, he only has Kai  eating 9-10 oz of meat per meal, MAX.

You're correct, he wasn't using the term 'periodization', but he described his point of view a bit like this.

I remember a formal client of him on another board, who came with a similar description of his approach. It's prob not only better for the organs but for the anabolic receptors as well.
Thanks for sharing his insights, great info.

Kai didn't get as big as he did without eating a lot of protein.  he was famous for massive amounts of chicken and such.  I think Farrah's approach works well for an established body looking to lean down and tighten up

I respectfully disagree completely bro. The 600g of protein a day thing is a completely ridiculous IMO, for anyone. A bodybuilder doesn't need 600g of protein. Farrah agrees.

Sometimes he looks like someone took Arnold's lower facial structure and grafted Sly's eye structure onto it.
