Jay is a clever bodybuilder with adequate genetics and huge self-disipline. I guess he HAS gotten a lot out of bodybuilding. That being said- nothing is sadder than an aging man who made a living based on his looks and/or body, especially if he desperately tries to cling on to past glory and doesn't find new ventures. It's only downhill for models, athletes etc after 30.
Contrast this with professions where you make a lasting contribution even after you die. Science is an example. Art, literature etc are others. A professor can keep being productive until his 70s...
