True, the interest rates are high, but Fingerhut reports monthly to credit bureaus, so if a person is smart and just buys an inexpensive item and pays the small monthly payment, he can rebuild credit if he has hit rock bottom.
Obviously, people with decent money and good credit are really Fingerhut's target customer base so they rarely get catalogues from the company.
