For me RDL's to 3 or 4 inches below the knee...legs slightly bent, pushing your ass out behind you are far superior to stiff-leg deads which is all lower back for me.

4 heavy sets of those, then 1 20 repper.  Then do leg curls either lying or standing (seated is a half movement).  If lying raise up on your elbows so you are facing forward and at the top try to lift your quads up off the pad (you won't really be able to but it will force you to contract from both ends of the muscle).  Once you fail with that form you can do them the normal way to get 4 or 5 more reps.

Do stiff legged deadlifts with dumbbells, and put 2.5lb plates under the balls of your feet.

Combine with seated/lying leg curls, and that'll allow your hamstrings to grow to their full potential.

I train quads and hams on different days. I train hammies after back, starting with weighted hyperextentions which function as a nice bridge from lower back to hamstring training and finish with some standing or lying leg curls.

How many sets sets do you do for hams, Ro? Rep range? Have you ever split hams and quads up into diff workouts or always train them together?

Cool, similar workout as me. I'm on the right track then. Did you have some natural size before you started training legs and they responded fast? Blew out my right ACL completely 3yrs ago and my legs have been lagging ever since. Really prioritizing legs this year. They respond fast though, 18" calves without even training them
