Your return rates are insane, will it be done with a self financing portfolio?
TBH, I would be happy if I average 10% in 10 years overall although I will try and keep my 20% return if I can, but this is the stock market I could easily exceed my expectations as I could easily end up 20-30% down if I'm lucky, my profolio is well spread though, I'll need a near disaster to lose the lot.
Currently high returns are possible if you pick the right companies, many are under valued or investors have fallen out of love due to credit crisis issues which has skewed their SP, plenty of pickings out there IMHO which should give you atleast 10% capital growth PA.
Usually its small nudges of 1.5/2% every few months when a bit of good news emerges such as forecasts, postive hedge fund rating, financials...etc which adds up to in 12 months, the OP seems to have smashed a big jump in one hit to get that much return, which can only be done with high risk instruments, these need a science (ideally inder dealing tbh) to stay on top, I would lose all my cash if I traded in small cap/high risk in no time. I know that cos I got burned.
