ok so i had a great question about maintenance once you hit your bodyfat goal using the system and some user feedback. i thought i'd post up the question and the answer here cause it'll undoubtedly help others who bought the book.
question:
Hello no one. I wanted to ask you question , it was mentioned in the book couple of times , that maybe when going for 5% it is better to up the dosage, tbut when finally there when switchin for the maintance lower to 3/4 or 1/2 or maybe even galeniko style 250-500mg.
I am on 150 tren ace ED, 50mg prop EOD 100mg mast.EOD.
After last 2weeks in the hole with goal being maximum shredded I finally hit the goal I desired so I was thinking to switching to maintance mode,
but then some mental weakness crisis occured with having this different mindset with maintance mode and I eated 3x days in row like 6000 cals on average. I dont even want to imagine how long it will take to fix it.So I guess I am not cut down for maintance I just keep on doing straight diet with trying to stay in the hole as long as I can.
So question is (after I fix the mess I did) after I get back to 5% and lowerdosage, lets say I will do 250mg tren E/test E/ mast E per week can I expect to shrink in muscle mass? , because thats the common knowledge when lowering, what is your experience with it in this diet?
answer:
bro like i said im on 1/4 the gear it took to accumulate my size and im growing. ive put on 2-2.5 pounds of lean tissue in the past 2 weeks. and ive gotten leaner. its not the compounds per say. all the compounds do is give you a 'look' ie dry/ full/ grainy its the total mg that will decide if you grow or maintain. cals is not a varilable here as the body partitons the protein as needed without having to increase it.
you hit the nail on the head bro- you 'get' it- you've adapted the system to suit your needs- its a great thing to hear you say 'this didnt work for me, so i'll do this' thats what this is about, finding out what works for you and applying it. btw im the same as you, give me an inch i'll take a mile, so what i do is not have more big meals, just increase my cals slightly on my low days and keep my big meals to every 4-5 days still. that way 'mentally' you stay focused on the diet. thats my menthod of maintenance. you and i are both all or nothing guys apparently and need the disciplene to keep us focused.
dont worry about the damage. it'll be negligible if your around 6%. if your heavier yes you might have undid some hard work. but if your 6 or lower you'll see when the water falls off there really wasnt all that much damage.
hope this helps you all- cheers!
