I don't know if Courtney love is some bastion of honesty, but it fits the narrative that people know about Ted Nugent and his "love of young girls" (That's a quote from a VH-1 behind the music about Ted)

A teenager was shot while committing felony assault, and that's a tragedy.

But that doesn't happen in a vaccum either. Who jumps on a guy and bangs his head against the cement because they followed you for a few minutes?
