2013 Olympia - Is height a limiting factor to win the O?
« on: July 25, 2013, 11:18:49 AM »
why do people think height is a limiting factor in winning the olympia......or the arnold classic for that matter?

franco won the olympia.......as did larry scott. chris dickerson and samir as well.......more recently dexter jackson.

all these guys range in height from 5'2-5'8.

many felt padilla should have won in 81.......many feel that shawn ray should have won back in 94.

not wanting to debate anyone here.....just would like some input.

It's true, there was a study that showed about 70% of people under 6' lied multiple times a day and only about 4% of people over 6' have ever told a lie. Short little deceitful fucks should be destroyed, they fuck up this planet.

Your question was too bodybuilding specific brother. Maybe a tranny thread or a clip from WorldStarHipHop would get more feedback here, those are the kinda of topics the common folk want to see.

Also, I don't think the height thing matters too much, except if seems the most athletic/genetically gifted guys with good lines and round muscle bellies seem to be guys of medium/average stature. Any time guys are too short or tall, you run into structural issues. I think it's a matter of statistics and averages when dealing with typical height of the champs.

One reason might be that in a line up the taller bodybuilder just stands out so much more than a shorter bodybuilder.  The taller ones out mass the short ones usually.

We're calling them "tall", but in real life most of these champs are just average height like 5'10ish. Compared to many many shorter fellas on stage. So yeah I guess the "taller" guys stand out compared to the other midgets on stage.
