Brad and Derek abuse Synthol and now both have shot kidneys any medical info on synthol causing kidney failure?
Good question.
I think most of us are aware that kidney injury usually occurs when the blood supply to the kidneys is suddenly interrupted or when the kidneys become overloaded with toxins. Hmmmmm... go figure.
Causes of kidney injury also include complications from situations in which the kidneys are deprived of normal blood flow for extended periods of time. I would think that excess use of Synthol would qualify in this situation.
Among the causes of renal failure is the crush syndrome, when large amounts of toxins are suddenly released in the blood circulation after a long compressed limb (or muscle) is suddenly relieved from the pressure obstructing the blood flow through its tissues, causing ischemia. The resulting overload can lead to the clogging and the destruction of the kidneys.
Excess drug usage in general is also a very popular cause

~ Doesn't just have to be juice. The kidneys filter EVERYTHING that we take into our body. Food, drugs, medications, alcohol, cigarettes, vitamins, minerals, supplements... on and on it goes.
After an extended period of time the kidneys can easily fail if they don't get some rest or proper filtration cleaning... hmmmmm... who does that? Take time off? OMG!!!!!
If that isn't enough, some people are just more genetically prone to a whole host of kidney problems without ever even getting involved with drugs or alcohol.
My hypothesis would be: Yes, Synthol can and will most definitely affect the kidneys in an adverse manner. On top of that, anyone who uses Synthol surely would not hesitate to use other "questionable' substances, right?
