Which wrestling death shocked you or hurt the most?
Owen was shocking given the circumstances same with Benoit.
For me it was Eddie G, and Mr. Perfect.
But all the guys that died in their 40's and 50's were pretty much shocking but some didn't surprise me.
Hennig was and is my favorite. When he passed, I was about as saddened as a person could be over the loss of someone they've never personally met/known.
Well...except for the people who filled the streets shedding tears and having anxiety attacks when Michael Jackson died; but, those people aren't right in the head.
Savage was another shocker. I'd always pegged him for someone who worked very hard, saved his money, and got out before the business physically or proverbially killed him.
Candido struck a bit closer to home. I'd seen him and Tammy backstage maybe eight months before he passed. It seemed like he'd really gotten his shit together and was back on track with life. It was almost ironic that he died
after getting away from the drugs and hard partying.
