I know this is blasphemy around here but who was better in their prime. Dorian (1993) or Jay (2009). It's not as easy as you think. Dorian 5'10.5 257lbs, Jay 5'9 255lbs.

according to modern bb judging criteria; young jay - who compared well to coleman - and 2009 jay beats any stage pic of dorian I have seen

i think jay mostly has better legs.

but dorian is from another era so he compares extremely good to a modern bber

Haney retired because of Dorian he absolutely would NOT have beaten Dorian 1993 and he knows it.

And that round Dorian beat him speaks volumes , Dorian in his first Mr Olympia beat a career best Haney in the muscularity round despite being 10lbs lighter , that was Yates 3rd EVER pro show and he beat Haney in Haney's round !!

Haney said at his acceptance speech in 1991 that he just learned how to peak for a contest and he would be back for more , he retied , we both know why.

I give Haney props for retiring at his best ever and going out ontop , smart man.
