Problem is, arrests are posted online, and before that, the newspapers, so it was only a jump to posting mugshots online. Many states, you can search out the person's or your own criminal record, of when you need to go to court. This is brought to up by the State's Judiciary. Soon, warrants may be posted online, once they are issued by the judge. This can help LE served them quicker, instead of looking for the hard copy.
