Say what you want, but a Mr. Olympia should train in a much more POWERFUL and MANLY way. As has been said, his exercise selection is for average gym wankers, who never get anywhere.
Guy shrinks like mad then goes back on boatloads of drugs and does mousy weight-training workouts ... and again gets huge. With good structural and response genetics, any form of resistance training will build the body. Jay's proof.
Not that everyone here doesn't know this. It's just that, for me, professional bodybuilding has become generally unimpressive.
Don't care if it's required or not. A potential Mr. Olympia needs to deadlift, barbell row and squat to earn my respect. Not that they have to earn my anything, of course.
