Vince.....not to speak ill of the dead, but we told him this 1,000 times and he still wouldn't listen.

Unfortunately, for DA, he put his whole entire worth into building muscles. When your whole life his focused around one passion, it could destroy you, literally. DA just had the bad luck of picking a passion that requires someone to inject massive amounts of drugs into their body, as opposed to a more safe passion such as art or science. Too bad DA didn't get into astrophysics. He could have put his passion into becoming an astrophysicist.   Could have made a good living and contributed to society. Instead, he ignored Getbigs advice, continued to stick drugs into his body, which eventually killed him. And it was sort of sad that no bodybuilders, who claimed to be his friend, showed up to his funeral. I bet if he was an astrophysicist other scientists would have attended his funeral.

we had a few post dialog on training, he said with steroids you have more room for error, natural would theoretically need everything perfect for limited progress

That sad sack of waste byproducts probably had more than drugs shoved into various openings in him.  He wouldn't make a decent wetsuit if you deboned his body and that along with his drug use is what took his sad little imitation of life away from him.  Happens to many bodybuilders because they are one of the laziest segments of society out there.

I remember back in the days he did a video about his extreme facial bloat. He was in his car and assured everyone the bloat was from food or gear i cant remember, he was completly denying the fact his body was shutting down. Easy to make fun of the guy but very sad actually. PIP

This is something to ponder. At the very end, he became somewhat humble. This is not uncommon when one knows they are shortly going to die.

During most of his public exposure, he seemed to ignore good advice. Maybe we all do during times when we feel invincible. We'll never know whether he was afflicted with acute kidney failure because of his lifestyle choices or because of a genetic predisposition for it. For example, diabetics are much more susceptible to kidney failure (which is what took my wife) than those who do not suffer diabetes. Bodybuilding supplements (fucking around with insulin) and certain regimes seem to increase the risk of becoming diabetic.

Somehow, some folks lose tract of the fact that being a bodybuilder should enhance your health and not destroy it. The obsession with becoming inhumanly massive obliterates common sense. The current trend towards fitness completions may have a positive effect or it may not. The desire to be the best of the best when you're genetics are working against you gets in the way of sensible thinking. We are hammered with the idea that we can overcome all obstacles to achieving our goals creates an unrealistic viewpoint.

I honestly don't know whether this is possible or not....or whether the concept of heaven and hell is real or just a man made invention to help us tow the line.
