If you think a 40 year old can look like that naturally, then you're naive. In the pre steroid days, 30 was considered old. All the top bodybuilders were in their early 20s, which is when you still have lots of natural testosterone.

Skip looks like a pro bodybuilder from the 1970s, and we know they took lots of steroids, but no GH, insulin, or other drugs commonly used today.

This writer reported what was written here in getgit to musclemania … basically he was complaining about me.

What tim fogarty said was true (if u know anything about biology) and that is what its all about … in BBing u have to know how the body works and work your way around it.

When I started BBing I thought everyone was natural as is the case with any new bi. But as time goes by a person gets to know the unmentioned aspects of the sport (or better known as THE DARK SIDE) … MD magazine discusses that all the time and other magazines don’t like it … y ?? cause they didn’t address the truth from the beginning …

as a BBer these issues should never be discussed in public and we should try to keep the image of BBing clean (like all the other sports where performance enhancement is never discussed in public)

it is really not a pretty picture when a new comer discovers that one of his all time best is not natural … but that is the way life goes and that is how the sport is going …

I am not advocating anything nor encouraging anyone … but the truth should be spoken and the image of BBing and BBers should not be bond or mentioned in the same sentence with drugs.

I didn't know the guy was 40 - but the point is, natural or not, that physique is attainable without drugs. Just look at guys like Sandow - looked ripped way before steroids were used. And that was before people really understood the best ways to exercise and eat. Look at some of the naturals on this board - Goudy, Adonis.

LaCour btw does NOT look as big and massive as the top guys from the 70s as Tim stated. He doesn't have the mass of a Mentzer, Arnold, or Sergio. He looks like a dedicated bodybuilder.
Another question is - Do these guys consider their diuretic use when they make "natural" claims?
