42 and been training 26 years on and off, really felt a decline in recovery last few years, but then again I do Hrt on correct dosage and pattern 250mg every two to three weeks and I skip most months of the year as i dont like the associated weight gain, usually puts 12 to 15 pounds on me and as someone who walks around above 240 anyway,(6 foot tall) i dont like carrying the weight as im getting older body fat wise sucks used to be able to get in shape in 8 weeks and biggest concern was holding weight when dieting, now I diet my ass off and cant lose more than 10 lbs even less with the hrt, and usually sit around 12 to 14 percent but then dieting isnt a strength, I eat what I want and walk 6km a day in an attempt to compensate.
