No need to impress people with my car. I keep my cars is good working order. One is a 1998 Mazda Protégé and the other a 2004 Mazda 6 sport wagon. Both run like new. No car payments and auto insurance is cheap too.

Probably changing the oil every 3,000 miles or 3 months(whichever comes first) like a boss too.

Well, it's a sure bet you do not "fap" while your on the internet....that's not acceptable public library behavior. Oh that's right, you work at Walmart....pretty much anything goes there and free Internet as well.

At least getbig is interactive. You get input and output. With tv it's only output. It's a one way stream into your brain.

My television is a smart TV. If I wanted I could use it for internet stuff....but I am frightened to do so because some of you might look so bad in real life it would turn me into a pillar of salt.

That's an expensive library...books and movies at our library are so cheap its almost free

I honestly don't mind the places that charge a buck. They usually get more than one copy.

Here they are free and you can never get a damn thing. People go in and fill out request forms for all the new stuff, and it takes forever for it to see the shelf.

Gave cable up a year ago. Wasn't worth the ridiculous prices Time Warner was charging with their monopoly on the region. (still getting shafted with their internet tho)

I get the regular channels for free in HD through the air.

I use a 32 inch LED TV as a monitor for my computer.

I don't miss cable. I download everything I want to watch... mostly HBO and Showtime shows, and HD movies off of torrents.

I also watch a lot of free mma on the internet. But if there's a card or fighter that I really want to see in HD I'll go to hooters or buffalo wild wings.
I don't really watch any other sports than mma. And the internet has always been the biggest home for MMA.
I wish they would air mma at the sportbars here. All they show is gay ass soccer and everyone follows it...  :-\

Doesn't help that the fights air 4am because american time.

No set up charges....all I had to do was take all my verizon boxes to the post office to be returned and it didn't cost me a nickel.

Get on a good private torrent site or spend an hour setting up newsgroups with Couthpotato, Sickbeard and Sabnzb for your dvr's, set it and forget it, there's absolutely zero reason to pay for cable.

There's also plenty of streaming sites around, but I don't like streaming quality when I can download a full 1080p blu-ray in 40 minutes anyway.

your a fucking homo, how can you sit back and relax watching your sports on a poxy laptop screen....

i work 12hr shifts the majority of the time, so on my gym free nights i vegetate watching sports or films/good series until i start nodding off

Valid point, but it shows just how insignificant it all is to me.

I have a 17" laptop that I put on the coffee table 2 feet from the couch if I want to watch a movie before bed or something.

I mostly watch Youtube and downloaded stuff these days.

If I get bored at night I like to take a nice brisk bike ride on a trail or through a park and enjoy Earth, life, and fresh air. Sitting inside is not how humans were meant to live man...

Shizzo trying to start a fight and divert attention to himself...as usual.

:D spot on, even though both are attention whores :D

Groink sounds very nice and sensitive recently must be the estrogen after dropping everything ;)

I like these good normal threads tho

On topic: no tv but after moving in with gf next month getting a nice Samsung or Panasonic just because I'm still young and never had one and yes I'm thinking just connecting it to PC
