Yes, three movements determined long ago as the best to gauge an individual's overall strength and power. Besides that which is tested with squat, bench press and deadlift, what else is there of relevance? Biceps? Of no relative importance, really. Calves, in their capacity to contract from a fully-stretched position? And besides, these muscles play a supporting role in the three lifts, anyway.

No true strength athlete/expert will ever give a rat's ass about what someone can cable fly, lat pulldown/chin, biceps curl, calf press, leg press, leg extension, lateral raise, etc.

olympic lifts, cleans, rows, standing dumbbell/barbell presses thomas inch ect. this isn't "who's the strongest at powerlifting movements." There are other movements which prove strength in different areas and you know this dude but you're a pwrlifter so not even going to get into this with you.

Franco
Park (140lb standing dumbbell press?)
Coleman
Fox

all some of the strongest guys from their eras.

by whom, using what criteria ::)

on a somewhat related note:

i'm more impressed by platz' 500 x 23 than an 800 lb squat

Agreed Stan is the strongest! How about qualifying it by they have to have competed in more Bodybuilding shows than Powerlifting or Strongman contests!

Yeah, actually, Yates was strong.  That 400 lb. incline you're talking about was 425 for 6 slow reps, not 4, and there was no assistance.

He was a bit stronger before he tore his biceps.  Inclined 440-450, rowed that much and declined 515 all for 6-8 (Dorian's own words, but given his typical candor I have no reason to question him).  With the form he used, those are very good numbers.  Could Kevin incline 440 for 6 strict?  How about Ronnie?  We know he owned 200 lb. DBs like nobody else save Efferding, but we also saw him struggle to flat bench 495 for four.

Btw, I never saw Kevin incline 400 for anywhere close to 15 reps.  Where did you see that?  He did 405 for like 6 after he benched 495 for a solid triple.  Maybe you're thinking of Cormier when he was recorded doing 405 for 12 reps, all lowered to his chin.  That was pretty impressive.

when I go the Yates way and perform FULL ROM, slow negatives IN EACH reap and holding max contraction at the top, the poundages I can lift automatically drop to half. Im sure if Dorian wanted to go higher for the sake of powerlifting he would automatically increase his lifts a lot just by doing "regular" reps.

I had to downsize a little bit since I need to wear suits in my work and I was looking retarded on them. But I guess they are still close to the 20 mark, at least when pumped.

Funny thing is that now that Im drier it looks even more freaky, people comment all the time about the veins and shit.

training and eating less overall (protein close to the same tho), only this changed. Im very sensitive to carbs.

Started doing some cardio and regular mega sex sessions with girlfriend helped as well, lol.

What about you? Close to epic leanz?

8-9% is still excellent, you must be looking great after adding up 7kgs of mass.

it seems that most of it went to my lats and delts and a bit to the pecs and arms

i tried to train legs today and i ended up doing 2 pussyass sets of squats and a few "rather light" leg extensions lol

leg training is just boring as hell for me

Holy shit, real? There are not many powerlifters who could do that. He controlled the weight so easily.

Don't forget Ferrigno.

(and he didn't blow out his knee while carrying a fridge on his back)
10 lb bumper plates????????
