Pick up the October, 1997 issue of Flex. There, where he comments on the Olympia from that year, Peter McGough states that Dorian was 266 lbs for pre-judging and that he ballooned to 274 lbs, by the night show.

It's 270 lbs, not 274 lbs. According to Peter McGough, Yates gained 4 lbs, not 8 lbs overnight.
