Was talking to someone who tried to sign up and couldn't.  Quit trying after several days.

People have tried 40-50 times signing up and failed.  Even if some were able to sign up, many of them can't log in, the insurance companies don't receive their information, or their passwords aren't working at all.

After several weeks of this happening these basic issues should have been fixed.  At this rate they'll have to delay the individual mandate because no one can sign up for it.

the website issues are well known and no one I've seen or heard has denied they exist

from what I'm reading a big part of the problem is that they used government contractors who were mostly groups that were skilled in getting contracts and not in actually doing the work they were hired to do.   What the government should have done is created it's own permanent work force to create, implement and maintain this thing

Also, as I've said many many times, if the ACA is going to be the disaster the Repubs claim then they (the Repubs) should take the high road and say it's the law of the land and though we oppose it we are going to do our job and help implement it.   If it's going to be a disaster then Dems will pay the price will be begging Repubs to get rid of it by voting them back into office

 So how long will it take for them all to have insurance?

 46,000,000 divided by 26,000 tells us it will take just over 1,769 days. That is almost five years.

 Yet the deadline to get the insurance in 2014 is December 15, 2013. The deadline to avoid a fine from the IRS is February 15, 2014."
