he didnt legally do anything wrong, deal with it...
what he did was within his legal rights as decided by the jury
he did plenty wrong. He was caught in many lies that his own lawyer admitted. He was a danger to others and ran into a gun battle.
Yes, it was legal, but it wasn't right.
There's plenty difference. LOTS of shit in history has been LEGAL but not RIGHT. The law changes.. heck, the jurors said they wish they could have found him guilty of SOMETHING, but the law doesn't prevent cowboy shit, even if it is wrong.
So yes, you're right, LEGALLY he didn't nothing wrong, he's cool. But I'd like to ensure guidelines are in place to make sure teachers aren't given that kind of leeway lol... "You're allowed to chase a kid down the hallway into an alley behind the school for skipping class, and if a fight/shooting happens and nobody sees the incident clearly, well, hey, go back to homeroom a hero, you sumbitch.
Clear guidelines would prevent that. If you're a teacher and you choose to carry, you don't run alone into a confrontation with a student after chasing him 500 feet, for example. Keeps everyone safe. If you call the office and they say the SRO is on his way, maybe you don't run under the bleachers to get hallway addresses lol.
