For you PETA faggets.

This morning I enjoyed feasting on the unborn children of a chicken. They had so much potential... that is until I stole them from their mother and ate them.

Tonight I will eat their mother ripping her body apart limb by limb until there's nothing left but her bones.

Because of this thread, I had to go and watch a re-run of BLackfish. Very tragic.

I'm sure a lot of things in the documentary were exaggerated to support the director' point of view, but you cannot question the asshole-ness of SeaWorld executives. In one interview, they straight up said "if she (the girl who was killed by the whale) was here, she would clearly admit it was her mistake".

That's unethical and uncalled for.

They also bred over 50 whales using the sperm from that killer whale with a history of killing people. It's 2013, we all know aggressiveness is a genetic trait. If one of those 50 whales kill someone, i hope someone sues the fuck out of SeaWorld.

Not trying to be funny or anything but I think they're called KILLER whales for a reason.

Sure, they kill by default ::)

But at the same time Seaworld does a lot of good in increasing public awareness of marine wildlife.

Dolphins, orcas and whales are a higher civilisation brought in from the Andromeda Galaxy some 800,000 years ago to assist with the creation of the human race.
They are such a higher civilisation that they can't prevent a collection of savages removing them from their natural environment and exploiting them for mere entertainment purposes.  Somehow, when I imagine what a life form from a higher civilisation would be like, the image of a human riding on it's back in a humiliating fashion to entertain the moronic masses never occurs to me.

sad fucking world we live in. perhaps its time for the human race to be wiped out for the Earth to regenerate and rejuvenate.

When you think about it we're some weird creatures. We're the most intelligent species this planet has ever seen yet we can be so ... backwards? and destructive.

It's almost as if being too intelligent is a bad thing. Too much choice... too many ways to go wrong.

One or multiple asteroids could do that, and I would welcome that.

100%

we prolly aren't the first civilization to exist on this planet. water erosion on the Sphinx points to that, given it was created during a time by a people when that area was much less arid.

we're just part of a cycle here the planet goes thru. what brings abt each new civilization is a mystery. prolly one we are not meant to know. makes for great mystery tho.

Animals have two purposes in life, survive and procreate.  Sea World gives them shelter and allows them to survive and they can have babies. So whats the big deal?  How many of you have dogs or cats?  What's the difference?  Does you dog belong in a big open prairie to fend for himself or enjoy the homes and food you give them?
and they make money out of it  ;)
