You might appreciate what I ate for dinner last night. -All good stuff and high is protein too. I fixed canned lentil soup from Progresso, accompanied by a Thai basil salad which is made with quinoa, green and red peppers, onion, green garbanzo beans and Thai basil. The salad dressing is olive oil, orange juice and rice vinegar. The quinoa grain is very high in protein. Lentils are high in protein too.
Not being a vegetarian like you, I cooked a sweet Italian sausage and then cut it up and put it in the soup. You will probably want omit this ingredient, but other folks may not.
