The main point of my post was the final two sentences. I was simply putting a timeline to the whole thing...
People who kill people always screw up when they panic. You gotta remember that chances are most people won't be missed for a day or two so you need to step back and figure out the best solution to hide what happened.
Very hard to do when more than one person is involved in the death though. Lone killers get away with things easier.

(vehicle identification number).All cars have them.The little plate at the leading forward edge of the dash at the side of the roof pillar.You can see it by just looking through the windshield.All cars on the road that are registered need to have that info I think.

Not sure if you are joking here Tre, but that is how they identified the truck used in the OK federal building bombing and traced it back to Timothy McVeigh -- in fact if I remember correctly they got the VIN off the truck axial which was found like 10 blocks from the scene. |
