Too bad Johnny Cockring's gone, Craig could use his peculiar form of lawyering.

Houston is a good possibilty too. I believe his teenage daughter lives there, you would think he'd want to see her be4 he's caught or turns himself in(not likely,I know)

The Movable Blog is part of editorial content, which is not reporting. Get it straight or forever be another BB pin head.

Boo hoo-i'll take it. It's 20 and gets dark at 4:30 here in NY. 20 is balmy by December standards.

There is no good way to get rid of a body.

Fresh corpses to the most badly decomposed bodies, forensic scientists attempt achieve the answers to three key questions: who is the victim, when did he die and how did he die.

BURYING

Analysis: A buried body decomposes about six to seven times slower than a body dumped above ground. This improves the chances investigators will determine identity, time of death and cause of death. Almost all buried bodies are found in very shallow graves that are easily discovered. Veteran homicide investigators say this is because killers do not appreciate the time and labor involved in digging a grave large enough to accommodate a human body. "Nobody digs a hole 6 feet in the ground to bury a murder victim," said Lt. Wayne Petersen, who commanded the homicide unit from 1996 to 2001. "Thank goodness criminals are lazy."

On the other hand there is the option of burning the body.

BURNING

Analysis: Forensic pathologists examine soft tissue in determining a person's identity and how they died. But when flames consume all flesh and organs, they are often left with little to work with. When you burn a body, you can get rid of bullet trauma and sharp force wounds. They can be kind of obliterated along with the soft tissue. This necessitates the expertise of a forensic anthropologist. Such experts can often determine a cause of death through examination of skeletal remains. If the teeth are recovered, identification is typically easily made through dental records.

So to come to the conclusion that the alleged killers thought that burning the bodies was a bad choice is a bit premature. There have been a number of bodies burned in cars in the Nevada desert. Using your own vehicle to do the deed is a bit dumbfounding to say the least.

There is that silly Gatorade in the background.  I can hear you getting fatter -- ummm, bigger.

The thing I don't get is that Michael was a hardgainer to start with and now he can't lose fat if his life depended on it.

What changed between then and now besides the AAS?

Did he fu.ck with insulin or was it just age and the slowing of his metabolism?

I read all the postings on th is thread. Im in disbelief! I cant believe this is happening!
Now the media is going to eat this up claiming riod rage and making the sport look bad.
Do you think this could hurt the sport of bodybuilding and fitness?
Man, I really feel bad for Kelly Ryan. I remember first seeing her when she won the Fitness America Pageant but back then she looked like a plain normal looking woman, a lot smaller than what she is today and very wholesome looking then.
This makes me feel bad for the both of them. Im shaking my head in dismay...

Jerry, apparently you don't know much about the long, sullied, history of bodybuilding (amateur and pro)!  Going back to at least the 1940's, often serious, competitive, BBers, generally speaking, don't have much education, aren't "too bright"-an understatement!-are usually unemployed, and don't do much else except workout, lay around the beach/gym, and then "raise hell" in the evenings!  Sort of like a bunch of irresponsible teenagers that never grew up and accepted adult responsibility!  They usually claim that their efforts at BB "takes too much out of them" to allow time for them to be socially responsible citizens in society!

When these amateur/professional BBers couldn't make enough income off of their fag "fan support base", they supplemented their income with burglaries, muggings, robberies, murder, and, in recent years, illegal drug use/trafficking!  Why, around 1959, the original Muscle Beach was closed down by the enraged Santa Monica city fathers because of a series of crimes committed by several Muscle Beach BB "residents", topped off with a statutory rape charge.

Why, Craig Titus' latest alleged murderous criminal act is merely a continuance of this long, checkered/tainted 60-odd year history of the criminal bodybuilding "lifestyle" in the general public/media spotlight.  In recent years, the accusation of 'roid-rage has been added to the laundry-list of abberant socially-unacceptable/criminal behavior of "bodybuilders" in the public eye!

While there are many notable exceptions to the above statements, they sadly have applied (and still do apply!) to many amateur and pro. BBers (and wannabees) over the past six decades...and have duly received a lot of negative press!!

By the way Jerry, BB is NOT a sport...it is rather a backroom, closet, cult supported by mainly fags, schmoes, and a BB "industry" which tries to deceive you as to how the top BBers actually built their bodies and, in turn, fleece your pockets by trying to sell your worthless food supplements, courses, equipment, etc.!

I understand it makes you into a killer -- ummm, in the gym.

Understood.

On a side note:  I'm wishing more goth chicks were in to working out.

Would make things so much easier, William.   >:(

The problem is, fire attracts attention. Even though a lot of evidence would likely be destroyed, the body will be in the hands of authorities in relatively short order, and then all they have to do is match it up with dental records and missing persons reports, and bingo... they know who the chick is, and Craig & Kelly come under investigation. Also, with strangulation, a small bone in the throat usually gets broken, so they would even have the cause of death.

No, they needed to make the body disappear. The best way would be a properly dug grave. Maybe they should have put the body in a chest freezer in their house until they could scout out the exact perfect remote spot, then take their time digging a grave of proper depth. Either way, they needed to think this through instead of being stupid and panicing. They chose not to, and it will end up costing them their lives as they knew it.

jeffery dahmer opted for the freezer.

I suppose if they had a wood-burning fireplace in their house they could have opted to try to burn the body there, but that would first involve cutting the body into smaller managable pieces. Even assuming they could stomach this, there are potential problems with this method, blood being the most obvious. They could try to neatly drain the body of blood first, but even that would leave trace evidence in their drain pipes. However, if they could manage it without leaving blood evidence in their house, they would be set... the body would be consumed by their fireplace, and any small leftover bone fragments could easily be bagged up and put in a dumpster somewhere.. and that would be the end of it.

Wow, you have really thought it out!  I'm impressed!!!!  But couldn't you clean the blood out of the drain pipes with bleach?

But in the meantime the sad thing is ..... Craig remains on the run.

I don't think bleach works to destroy blood evidence.  But if I were in their situation, I'd research it out and make sure before doing anything. With the stakes that high any smart person would. This of course leaves Craig out.  ;D
