I think if Martin had a fight with Ingconito, that it wouldn't go any further. Once you show that you cannot be pushed around---regardless of who wins, what happens is that a mentality is that this person won't stand for it...

Which actually is a win-win, it shows that one will stand up for themselves and that they then become a "leader"...
Furthermore, why would there be a need for them to target Martin? You know in the wild, predators target the sick, the young, the weak, and the old...culling the herd and keeping it healthy.

of course it can, and it is exactly what is going on. But humans have way more elaborated ways to insure their survival, can play mind games etc. Also many humans are weak but kept alive because their existence justifies the jobs, salaries and survival of other men and women. Someone 's suffering is someone else 's business, way to make a living.  We also keep older people alive hoping to get tips from them on how to improve our own odds of survival. And if we keep going to see them , which makes them feel better about their lives, in return they pay us with these needed advises.

Incognito handed over his phone to the reporter Glazer last night.  There were 11 back and forth text between them.  They BOTH used the violent threats to one another, (presumably joking around?)

So while Ingognito needs a kick in the balls for his language (use of the N-word)... Any cries of "oh, how could he be so violent in his wording?", it really looks like it was two dudes talking to each other like this all the time.  While they were also going on vacations, dinner together, and laughing it up in interviews all along.  I can't buy into "I have to check into a mental health facility because I'm scared Incognito wants to kill me", as we now know they both chatted at each other like this.

Martin's texts to Incognito, a few days after the media shitstorm began, indicated he had no idea how and why everything is getting released.  Sounds like the lawyer created this big gameplan to sue the NFL.  I have no doubt he told Martin to check into the hospital so that'd be documented as mental suffering, pain & anguish.   He's doing the PR campaign against the NFL in the media now. 

Martin is looking worse and worse - the text where he threatens to kill Incognito's familiy, that essentially nullifies the threat from Incognito - Just two grown men making similar jokes at each other.  Obviously, we all know these 2 millionaires weren't going to do that.  Obviously Martin wasn't going to murder Incognito's family, and Incognito really never planned to shit in anyone's mouth.

Have not had a chance to read all these damn  intelligent and interesting comments yet so this may have already been mentioned by 240 or Ronnie Rep or some other GetBigger... but there appears to be a great opportunity for a substantial court settlement regarding this situation and a huge fee for the lawyers involved.

I do know for a fact that even you are involved in  a minor vehicle accident a lawyer will take you on as  a client and send you to some medical office (usually somehow connect with that lawyer's firm) to substantiate a claim for 'damages' no matter how minor that 'damage' may be.

It could be possible that Martin did not make that decision on his own.
