Louie was only an infant in the cwib, and he devewoped this ear infection. We didn't know it at the time...until Louie was about thwee wears old, we found out that he was hard of heawing. That's why he never took an interest in things...other kids would take an interest in, like tewevision. He was late wearning to speak and ewerything. Louie would become a lip weader.

When I met Lou at the AC in 2007, I was talking to his deaf ear.    I honestly forgot that he was deaf.  I hadn't watched Pumping Iron in years.  Maybe that's why Lou was giving me a dirty look but he did allow me to get a pic with him, after he tried to charge me $20.  My friend who had paid for a pic stepped in and reminded Lou that he had paid for a pic so not to charge me.  I got a freebie.

Deaf fo sho homey.  Too many pretty babies walking around bouncing their perfect jugs and asses for me to not enjoy.  Besides, being deaf would spare me all the asinine bullshit i am inflicted with daily.  I work at a major university and the pretty babies are everywhere.  Whenever i see them i thank god for putting them here for the betterment of the world.

I have old age hearing problems which are annoying, both for me and for those who have to repeat what they say to me. When I had my hearing checked, the technician didn't think it was bad enough to warrant the expense of hearing aids yet. My vision started getting worse when I was in my late thirties. I wear glasses and sometimes contacts. Lately, my vision has improved, which is weird. I would rather be deaf then blind, if I had to choose between the two. Hope it never comes to this though.
