Yes, I think so.  What Pelosi said there DOES sound crazy because why would you ever pass a bill before you know what's in it?
 
(BTW, I googled this quote and Pelosi has semi-weak explanation for how this idiotic remark was taken out of context. -- To me, her explanation sounded truthful, but no matter how you slice it, she never should have said something that sounds this dumb.)

Bachman, on the other hand frequently says stuff that's crazy and just plain false.

Tell us about unemployment rate under 5%, decreasing premiums at 3000% less so that employers will give raises, closing gitmo, health insurance for everyone eventhough CBO states that every year there will be at least 30 million without insurance under crapcare, tell us about slashing debt by 50%, or that obamatheclown would be on C-Span going over the budget line by line to remove wasteful spending, that special interest and lobbyists will no longer be part of the culture in Washington DC, that the swamp of corruption will be drained (yet demotwats have been the more corrupted of the two parties in the past 5 years) and that the air will be cleaner while the level of the ocean will stop rising.

You can't hang when it comes to politics so you bring up religion.

Pelosi is just a little better at the politics thing.  But they're both successful.  bachmann had a run.  She'll get a FOX news segment for a few years like Palin.  Once she's no longer shocking or younger/hotter faces replace (on FOX, well, they prefer beauty to brains), she'll quietly retire.  She did well.  But she's no Pelosi.
