I am a female personal trainer and a fitness competitor and all of the other trainers use the ball and do all of these crazy techniques on the ball...and these balance moves and weird ball holds
etc. etc. use core bords, bands, etc...and that is fine if their clients like it but personally...my clients want RESULTS. that's why they pay me and I'm going to work their asses off and not sit them on a ball and tell them to that stability training is the only way to get the body they want.
And they look at me training my clients with just iron and think I don't know sh*t about training! It makes me so freaking mad.....Like I dont know anything about training people because I'm old school and am not certified by one of the "new" ball certifications/NASMS etc...
Bottom line, even regular people, not bodybuilders will benefit from doing basic heavy lifting, cardio and eating right. It's not f-ing rocket science!
PS As a trainer, I do agree some people hire trainers to be their friends, which is very sad and pathetic but there are some who probably would never work out if they didn't make a financial committment. once again kind of sad...
